Former Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden will sign a one-day contract to retire as a member of the Browns, his agent told Adam Schefter of ESPN on Wednesday morning.
He played for the Steelers for the final five years of his career.
Haden intended to extend his deal with the Steelers last summer, but the team had other players to sign, so Haden was allowed to leave on a free agent.
Rosenhaus said the Browns will honor Haden later in the season.
Haden collected 10 interceptions in 68 games with the Steelers and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2019.
With the Browns, he also received Pro Bowl nominations in 2013 and 2014.
